Exfoliate
The biggest tip to applying any lipstick is to make sure you have a clean smooth surface. The best way to exfoliate your lips is to use a sugar scrub. You can make your own with a little sugar and honey. Just dab a drop of honey on your finger and sprinkle a little sugar on it to create a paste. Rub the paste on your lips and rub your lips back and forth a few times. Gently remove with water.
Moisturize
Dry, flaky lips are sure to ruin your day and your classic red look. After you exfoliate your lips, be sure to apply your favorite lip balm or moisturizing lip oil. Define
