Tips for applying Shine Fiber Lash Mascara

Here are some helpful tips on applying your Shine Fiber Lash Mascara.

Shine Fiber Lash Mascara

Clean your lashes

Shine Makeup RemoverClean your lashes, you do not want any residue mascara left on the lashes. Be sure to use a high-quality makeup remover so you don’t damage your lashes or your eyes. By making sure you remove all mascara before applying new mascara it will help prevent clumping. This will give you a nice clean slate to work with and allow you to apply the mascara smoothly and easily.

Brush your lashes

Use a small spoolie or eyelash brush to brush through and straighten your lashes. Start at the inner part of your eye gently brushing and straightening the lashes as you work your way to the outer part of your eye. Be sure to start at the base of the lash and follow through to the end of the lash. Apply the Mascara evenly from root to tip with a smooth outward glide.

Do not Pump

Be sure not to pump your spoolie in and out of your tube. When you do this it pushes air into your mascara and will dry it out. It also pushes all the product down to the bottom of the container where your spoolie will not be able to reach it. By gently twisting the spooling around the container you can get plenty of product onto the spoolie and your mascara will last longer. Once you have twisted the spoolie around inside the container a couple of times slowly remove it and wipe any excess on the tip of the container. When applying the product to your eyes start at the base of the lashes and slowly blink as you move the spoolie to the end of the lashes. Start at the inner part of your eye and work your way to the outer part of your eye.

Apply Micro Fibers before the mascara dries

Shine fiber lash mascara step twoI usually have my spoolie unscrewed before I apply the mascara so that the fibers can be applied quickly. You want to apply the fibers before the mascara dries so that the fibers can adhere to your lashes.

Only apply the fibers to the tips of your lashes

While applying the fibers to your lashes only apply the fibers to the tips of your lashes. This will maximize the lengthening power of the microfibers. Start at the outer part of the eye and work your way to the inner part. As you brush the spoolie over your lashes if you get too many fibers in one area gently brush through the lashes again to achieve the desired amount of fibers.

Only apply the Fibers to the upper lashes.

You can apply the fibers to your lower lashes if you would like, but I have found that the fibers tend to flake off more when applied to the lower lashes. I prefer to apply the fibers only to the upper lashes and just the mascara (step one) to my lower lashes.

Wait a few minutes after applying the Micro-Fibers.

Allow a few minutes for the Mascara to dry right after applying the Micro Fibers before you apply the Mascara again to set the Fibers. I have found that if I don’t allow the Mascara to dry after step two the fibers seem to come off with step three.

Don’t forget step three!

Shine fiber lash mascara step oneBe sure to apply the mascara again after you apply the fibers. Forgetting this step will result in the fibers not adhering to your lashes.

Gently brush and separate lashes

After step 3 and the mascara has dried for a couple of minutes, gently brush your lashes with a spoolie or an eyelash brush to separate any lashes that have stuck together.

Repeat Steps

You can repeat these steps and apply more coats to achieve your desired length and thickness.

Remove any Stray fibers

There will most likely be fibers that have fallen onto the top of your check and eyelid. Use a brush or Tissue to remove any stray fibers.

Apply powder

Shine Pressed PowderHere is the best way to set your mascara and help it last the entire day. Apply a powder over your entire face, below your eye and eyelid. This will help set the mascara and prevent the natural oils on your skin from smudging the gel. After you have applied the powder reapply one lighter gentle coat of mascara to darken and set the mascara.
