What is Victory?
Victory
Noun VIC·TO·RY \ˈVIK-T(Ə-)RĒ\
Victory can be defined as success in a struggle against difficulties.
Gold Medalist’s and First Place winners are the first people that come to mind when I think of Victory. But what about a person who celebrates the opportunity to compete, who devoted all their effort to just complete a race or someone who is struggling with their health, disease or just to complete a task?
A Victory could be big or small.
Any time we have success against something that may be difficult for us or for others is a Victory! I like to try and look for the small victories in my everyday life. It’s what keeps me going and helps me be positive. My perspective on life changes when I focus on my victories and not my failures. To take a failure as an opportunity to struggle against the difficult and eventually to achieve Victory.
It’s important to celebrate a big Victory, but it may be even more important to celebrate an everyday small Victory.
